COMPOSITION COMPETITION 2021

The International Zdeněk Fibich Competition in Composition of Melodrama has the deadline for receiving competition compositions on September 10, 2021. After the private first round, when the compositions will be judged by a three-member expert jury, the compositions will be studied by professional artists under the guidance of a specialized director. The premiere at the public concert on October 31, 2021 in the HAMU Gallery at 6.30 pm will also be the II. round the competition. The live performance will be evaluated by a five-member jury directly in the hall. Viewers can also get involved and express their opinion in a secret ballot (Prize of the Audience). Participating artists also award their prize (Prize of the Artists). Before the closing ceremony, the authors of anonymously judged melodramas will be revealed and introduced.
