Sibelius – Grieg – Fibich

The final orchestral concert of the 28^th Melodramfest will take place on Sunday, December 14^th at 7:00 PM in the large Concert Hall of the Prague Conservatory, Na Rejdišti 1, Prague 1

The program will feature the world premiere of the Czech version of Jean Sibelius’s melodrama: Grevinnans konterfej (The Countess’s Portrait) performed by Marta Hrachovinová, and a new Czech version of Edvard Grieg’s world-cult melodrama Bergliot, op. 42 performed by Dita Hořínková. The program will also feature Zdeněk Fibich’s Symphony No. 2, E flat major, op. 38. The North Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice will be conducted by Jiří Petrdlík, with Věra Šustíková as the words director.
