November 2020 – Results of the interpretation competition

The International Zdeněk Fibich Competition in Interpretation of Melodrama was successfully held on 21^st November 2020 in the substitute venue of the Hall at Ostrovní 13, Prague 1 as a private event. The jury was reduced to 5 members and met separately in compliance with all hygiene regulations. Only Czech performers took part in the competition in person, and all three rounds took place over the course of one day. Nevertheless, the level was high, comparable to other years of the competition.

The main prizes were won by:

1^st prize Michaela Žitná – recitation and Magdaléna Ochmanová – piano

2^nd prize Alžběta Bohdanová – recitation and Matouš Zukal – piano

3^rd prize was not awarded

The awards were presented by the Nadace Život umělce Foundation
