Contemporary concert melodrama abroad
The cycle of concerts of contemporary Czech melodramas to German texts and contemporary German melodramas to the texts of Czech poets took place on March 19, in the Konstanz-Kulturzentrum, March 21, in München-Seidlvilla, April 2, in the Zwickau-Robert-Schumann-Haus and on June 12, in the Regensburg-Sudetendeutsches Musikinstitut. The program featured authors: Jiří Bezděk and Pavel Trojan (Czech Republic) on texts by Monika Hähnel and Franz Werfel, and German composers Michael Emanuel Bauer, Holmer Becker and Frédéric Bolli on poems by Karel Pexidr and Ivan Blatný. Under the direction of Věra Šustíková performed Dita Hořínková, Filip Sychra and Apolena Veldová – recitation and Věra Müllerová – piano.
