Strauss’s Enoch Arden in the Prague Atrium

This world melodrama, starring Jaromír Meduna (recitation) and Miroslav Sekera (piano), directed by Věra Šustíková, will be presented in the Czech version on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 7.30 pm. The two-part full-length concert melodrama for narrator and piano from 1897 tells the captivating life story of an English sailor and his great love, told by him at the moment of his death, and is supported by extremely demanding musical inputs. The Atrium presents the show in collaboration with the Z. Fibich Society on the 125th anniversary of the work’s premiere.
