This year’s 21st Melodramfest will also feature two top concert projects within the new “Hidden Treasures of the European Melodrama” series. The first is the introduction of the opera by W. A. Mozart – Zaide, which combines the form of an Italian opera with melodrama. It will be the first ever performance of an opera in the history of Melodramfest. Come and listen to this precious opera by the brilliant composer at the Czech Museum of Music on Sunday, October 14th 2018 at 6:30 pm.

The final concert will be marked by great stories of great artists. Presented by the North Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice with the conductor Jiří Petrdlík and leading actors, you will hear the Czech premiere of the complete version of Beethoven’s Egmont on the text by J. W. Goethe and Shumann’s Manfred, based on G. Byron’s original. This extraordinary project will take place on Sunday 9th December 2018 at 6:30 pm in the concert hall of the Prague Conservatory Na Rejdišti 1.
