World premiere for the 25th anniversary of Melodramfest and 125 years of Enoch Arden’s premiere

The celebratory concert for the 25^th anniversary of the Melodramfest will take place on Sunday, October 9 at 7.30 pm in the HAMU Gallery. The head of the theory department at HAMU, prof. JIŘÍ BEZDĚK, was asked to compose the novelty. His cantata-melodrama Vocatus atque nonvocatus Deus aderit with soloists Petr Mikeska, Lucíe Hilscherová, Jakub Koś, Dorota Šimonová and other instrumentalists will have its world premiere here. The second part of the program is dedicated to the anniversary of RICHARD STRAUSS’s famous melodrama Enoch Arden, which will be performed in Czech language by Jaromír Meduna and Miroslav Sekera.
